i have recently been able to begin my portfolio in production design and the art department, focusing on the set design aspect. i enjoy translating the characters’ backstories through the use of props and setting, providing context for the films and their stories.
i am currently working on the production design on z6’s horror anthology, the analogue tapes. they are all set in the early 2000s, with a heavy focus on technology during this era. these short films are currently in post-production, however, see the below pictures for my efforts on five of the productions thus far.
the analogue tapes: don’t turn around (2026)
a young adult’s lounge room, centred around the box television. consoles and discs fill the spaces to show a numerous, but not messy, look.

the analogue tapes: remember me (2026)
the lounge and kitchen of a family home, long since been cleaned. a young girl’s toys are strewn across the space, along with mess from her distant and mentally ill mother.

the analogue tapes: are you ready to continue? (2026)
the bedroom of a sixteen-year-old sports prodigy, still keen on pop culture. her innocent, child-like personality takes a dark turn when she watches a tape from her friend.

the analogue tapes: suara (2026)
the bedroom of an eighteen-year-old singaporean immigrant, moving to australia at five years old. finding comfort in clutter, through books, music, posters and knickknacks.

the analogue tapes: welcome to the dark web (2026)
the study of a middle-class family home, paired with thick wooden family portraits. we also constructed a fake wall for this set, with room for a ghost-like hand to push through towards the eight-year-old daughter.
